Altered Holy Week Parish Office Hours

The Parish Office will be closed on Thursday, April 13; Friday, April 14; and Monday, April 17. Normal office hours, which are 10AM-12PM & 1-3PM, will resume on Tuesday, April 18.

Donations needed for Parish Homecoming

Interested in helping with the upcoming Parish Homecoming on May 7? We’re currently accepting both monetary and food item donations to help us warmly welcome friends and family back to the parish. Please put monetary donations in the collection basket during Mass or mail them directly to the parish office with the notation

Prison Ministry Conference April 29

A day for new and current prison ministry volunteers to focus on evangelization, existing programs and reentry services. Conference will be held at the Cardinal Keeler Center in Harrisburg on April 29, 2017. Registration fee is $10, including lunch. The day includes a keynote address by Fr. Marty McGeough, Coordinator of Prison Ministries for the Diocese of Trenton; breakout sessions; and panel discussions. Fr. Paul Schenck will celebrate Mass. Cardinal William H. Keeler to be Remembered

Bishop Gainer invites the clergy and lay faithful of the Diocese of Harrisburg to remember prayerfully William Cardinal Keeler with the traditional Month’s Mind Mass on Sunday, April 23 at Saint Patrick Cathedral. This custom remembers the faithful departed one month after their passing from this
world. Invoking the redeeming love and consolation of the Divine Mercy, the celebration will begin with Exposition of the Most Holy Sacrament following the 12:15 PM Mass. At 3:00 PM Bishop Gainer will lead those gathered in the solemn praying of the Divine Mercy Chaplet concluding with Benediction of the Most Blessed Sacrament. At 4:00 PM a solemn Mass will be celebrated for the repose of the soul of William Cardinal Keeler.

Hospital Admissions Privacy Laws

Should you be admitted to a hospital, due to privacy laws, it is now the patient (or family) that must tell the hospital that they are Catholic and would like to see a priest. The hospital priest chaplain will be able to visit you.

Harrisburg Diocesan Council of Catholic Women’s 92nd Annual Convention

The Harrisburg Diocesan Council of Catholic Women cordially invites all women of the Diocese to attend the 92nd Annual Convention, Monday, May 1, 2017 from 9 A. M. – 4 P. M. at the Cardinal Keeler Center, Harrisburg, PA. Vicar General, Very Reverend David Danneker, is the principle celebrant and homilist concelebrating with many Priests and Deacons of the Diocese. Maribeth Stewart, President Elect of the National Council of Catholic Women is the Keynote Speaker. Trade items for purchase. COST: $25 includes continental breakfast and lunch. Bishop McDevitt High School Spring Open House Wednesday, April 26th at 6pm

This is a new opportunity for 7th and 8th grade families to learn more about McDevitt where they will have the opportunity to:

  • tour campus
  • meet faculty and students
  • learn about academic programs and extracurricular activities

New High School Placement Test Date
